This series of images also received merit awards and I am proud of each and every one of them. I am absolutely thrilled that an image I photographed during a mother/daughter photoshoot of an over 50 Mom (Ilene) received an award. I think its fantastic that mature women are being celebrated since they are the most under photographed genre. I always make sure to post images of all the diverse people I photograph because people need to know that they don't need to be a model in order to have a beautiful portrait of themselves for work or for art.
